What is Global Akanda Bhajan:

As the name suggests, the Akanda bhajan is world-wide, non-stop 24 hours bhajan singing. This happens on the second weekend of November every year starting from Saturday 6 PM till Sunday 6   PM. It is also called as World-wide Akhanda bhajan.

History:

The Global Akanda Bhajan was inaugurated in the year 1975. 

GAB in Karanai Samithi:

GAB is done as a District level activity in Sri Sathya Sai Seva Kendra located in Sholinganallur for the Chennai East Coast District. Each of the Samithi’s will be allocated with timing. And Sai devotees energetically participate and sing bhajans during their allotted time slot.

Benefits:

This is done as a mark the beginning of Bhagawan’s Birthday festivities and for the welfare of humanity as a whole.
